#asktheexperts i have cold, cough and fever for three days, i have consult my nearby general practioner dr and he prescribe only paracetamol and a cough syrap, he told that wait for 2days cough dont go way after 2 days then he prescribe antibiotic, tomorrow i will go to see dr because small fever and cough not go away, taking antibiotic effect baby? please tell me

A. Antibiotics are not very good to be taken during the time of pregnancy so I think it would be better for you to consult your gynaecologist rather than going to a general physician because your gynaecologist would be able to give you proper help and response on the treatment and medicines to use
