#asktheexperts I breastfeed my baby daytime nd formula feed at night.. my baby born weight was 3.3 and now he is 2.7 only.. he passes motion 5days once.. how can I increase his weight

A. o wrong way of feed. Breastfeeding is considered the best source of natural immunity and also all the antibodies to a newborn baby . Doctor s don't recommend formula milk as it is not required at all . exclusive breastfeeding is the best for good immunity and baby health , reduces colic and gas issues and helps in the overall brain development of the baby. No water , ghutti or honey or any other syp is given till 6 months of age .

A. it normal that baby loss weight and then start gaining weight it is exclusively breast feeding recommend for six months start with vitamin supplement drops as Zincovit or syrup A to Z consulting your pediatric
