#asktheexperts i am mother of 1 year 2 month old baby by c section.i didn't get back my period after delivery .should i consult gyne?

Preeti KhatriMom of a 4 yr 1 m old boy2 years agoA. This happens to a lot of women and there is nothing to worry about. It happened to me and my sister also. My mother had the same period cycle when we were born. I got after one year. Dont take any pills. You will eventually get it. But u can still get pregnant without getting ur periods as happened to lots of women with this condition. So be careful.

There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to hormonal changes.
Breastfeeding mothers tend to get periods late.
once u stop breastfeeding u will get ur periods back.
