POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Don't leave them. Be with them and using a calm, soft voice, encourage them to breathe by breathing with them slowly. Don't try and talk about the situation until they are calm (they won't be able to hear you anyway). Stand aside and focus on your own deep breathing while you allow your child time to calm down.
