To get recovery faster ,you may help your baby by following the below points :

if your baby has trouble with feeding ,you may need to feed your baby more often to make up for lost calories and nutritions.
And if your baby has breathing difficulty ,keep his head slightly elevated while feeding ,this may help to open airways.
