#asktheexperts how can I add more nutrition to my child’s food as we are vegetarian.

A. The child's regular meals should comprise of cereals, pulses, greens, vegetables, fruits, nuts, dry fruits, dairy products etc., There should be more protein and Vitamin C intake which are very good in building immunity. Vegetables, fruits and spices protect the child from falling sick, cereals, nuts and dry fruits provide energy, protein rich foods help in the child's growth and Milk and milk products does all three jobs - protection, energy, body building. You should make sure all these are in balance in ur child's regular meals. Non veg foods are mainly rich in protein. To compensate that u can give protein rich pulses, legumes, beans, soya, milk etc.,
