#asktheexperts his cpr is 12.4 and treated with antibiotic blood culture of 1st day is negative with 5 days report but culture with 3 days found positive what are the chaces to have this infection

A. hello this needs a proper examination n is better to check with ur doctor n she will be able to guide u accordingly n is absolutely nothing to worry about

Q. #asktheexperts My baby (now 4 days old) have undergone surgery for Testicular Torsion after 13 hours of birth. In the blood culture report after the surgery, Gram negative bacteria has been detected. Final Report has not yet come. Doctors have started the medication with 3 antibiotics. Only after the report comes, micro organism will be identied and proper treatment can be started. Please let me know how dangerous the gram negative bacteria is and whether it can be cured once the organism is detected. Also, how fast it should be treated.

Q. Askexpert...My 53 days baby' blood culture report has is positive, presence of acinobacter sp. CSF test also is positive. During fever,she was hospitalized and given Taxim, Amikacin and Amitax. Blood culture and urine culture test was given after that. She was then discharged. When the blood culture report came, she was given syrup Zanocin 50 for 3 days. After seeing the blood culture report and CSF report, she is given now Ciprofloxacin two times a day..20 ml.....Since she is clinically well, she is not hospitalized. Is the treatment going well? Will she recover?
