Q.
Askexpert...My 53 days baby' blood culture report has is positive, presence of acinobacter sp. CSF test also is positive. During fever,she was hospitalized and given Taxim, Amikacin and Amitax. Blood culture and urine culture test was given after that. She was then discharged. When the blood culture report came, she was given syrup Zanocin 50 for 3 days. After seeing the blood culture report and CSF report, she is given now Ciprofloxacin two times a day..20 ml.....Since she is clinically well, she is not hospitalized. Is the treatment going well? Will she recover?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. repeat crp. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child
