Whenever introducing semi solid foods in baby's diet between the age of 5-6 months, always start slow with 4-6 spoons per serving and twice a day. You can feed lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, pear and carrot puree, homeade cerelac, ragi and sooni porridge, etc.
Keep feeding these along with 4-6 times milk per day and weight will be gained slowly.
