Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Small babies stool frequency varies as they grows.
They may pass stool once in 10 days ,or may pass 10 to 15 times a day in small quantities, golden yellow in colour froothy in nature.so nothing to worry till it associate with abdominal distension, lethargy.

mam ,is your child taking breastfeeding ?
if yes then it happens because of imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk.
so feed your child on each breast atleast 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well.
And if a child is formulafed baby,it is caused by iron supplements of formula.
so nothing to worry.
but if your child passes green stool with mucus then you should consult your pediatrician
