#asktheexperts Hi Sir, Newborn baby of 3 weeks is not taking enough feed at night times. She takes just 5 mins and then stops sucking. How to know if baby is getting enough feed at night. How to make sure if she takes enough feed

A. if the baby sleeping after feeding passing urine at least 8 times per day indication of feeding and gaining weight also. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

A. hi if child gains enough weight, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day, showing no discomfort,it means that your child is getting enough milk no need to worry about it much
