Q.

#asktheexperts hi respected mam/sir My daughter is five years old.her birth weight is 2.7.now her weight is 13 kg ...she didnt get wait gain till now...what is the solution?

A. Hello mom one is the family genes also plays a role .. so hence would suggest to observe that criteria as well .. but if she is active enough for her age and eating well not to worry . Give her foods that are high in calorie but are on the same time healthy for her such as dry fruits and nuts , lentils and legumes, fresh fruit milk shakes , eggs , soya , stuff paranthas

A. Hello Weight is less for the age you can consult your paediatrician to start supplements if required meanwhile you can add caloric dense foods like ghee, almonds walnuts cashews dates, banana chickoo peanuts, til seeds, coconut egg, avocado paneer to child's recipes for Healthy weight gain
