#asktheexperts Hi ...My baby girl was born on Aug 2 with weight of 3 kgs.Her navel area still it dint went inside.Attached picture.Today her weight was 4 kgs.Doctor said she gained very less weight.only breast feeding and her urine and stools passing were good enough in a day.but her weight is very low is it bcoz of the navel area still hasn't went inside ???

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. yes there is some granuloma of the umbelicus which needs to be treated properly. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment
