#asktheexperts hi doctor my son has ON and Off cold doctor prescribed antibiotics there was mild fever once after giving paracetamol there is no fever only cold .Is it required to give antibiotics

A. No no why do you need to give antibiotics if there’s no fever and the coal could be seasonal it can take 5 to 7 days to subside sometimes so if you already visited the doctor then continue with the medicines and precaution suggested by the doctor for faster recovery of your child
