#asktheexperts hi doctor my child is complaining about irritation at anus it might be worms. so what should I do

A. mam you can give deworming medicine to the baby. give Albendazole syrup 5ML now and then 5ML after a gap of 14 days. repeat this process after a gap of 6 months and give this medicine till the age of 5 years.

Q. Dear Doctor/Mommies, My son is 3yr old and from past 15days he is saying that he has irritation in his anus. I thought he might be having worms as he eats lots of chocolates, icecream and sweets. I have given him the syrup bandy, prescribed by his paediatrician, but doctor had advised me to give him not more than 2days . I gave syrup for 2 days(once in day 5ml) but still he says there's an itching in anus. Please advice. Thanks
