#asktheexperts Hi Doctor my baby is 5 months old and her weight is 5kg,her birth weight was 2.5kg,Hope it's good

A. Yes it is ok.. Baby's weight should double within 6 months from birth.

A. I guess you shud consult your paediatric as this isn't the right weight of a 5 months old baby.. babies grow double the weight of birth per month or less

A. T It is said if the birth weight of the child is two times by completing the age of six months or even before that then it’s a healthy weight gain so your child is having 5 KG before six months so your child is going to gain more by completing the age of six months which perfectly good enough as of now
