Q.

#asktheexperts Hi Doc, my daughter is 1.5 months old now. The hospital she was born in, gave Hepititis vaccine after 48 hours. But later we came to know, it should be given within 24 hours. is this fine or there can be a few things we need to do, since it's not given in time??

A. Hello my dear parent! Was your child undergoing any jaundice treatment? If yes, then yes, there can be some delay in giving the hepatitis vaccination. If you have any concern concerns, please let your doctor know that and seek guidance in this matter. Good luck and take care.
