Q.

#asktheexperts Hello sir/mam. My baby girl is 1yr 7months old. Biologically she is thin. Her birth weight is 2.5kg. Now she weighs 10.3kg, height 74cm. Is this normal? I am really tired of getting comments from the society like she is so thin, you are not providing her enough nutrients, enough food, she fall sick easily etc etc. But she is eating so well. Being thin is a sin? Can you please help me out..?

A. Mam done this is what you have to tell people that I am very sorted and content with whatever wait my child has with whatever looks my child have my child is eating well and I know my child is healthy you need to know how to make people quiet but yes if you are concerned generally you feel that your child is not gaining appropriately even after eating well then that’s mostly due to a nutritional deficiency this is a very common thing with kids so don’t worry about it these things can very well be taken care of with proper supplements so you can consult your paediatrician and start with multivitamin an iron supplement for the child and over the period hopefully things are going to be more favourable for youWrite Your Answer Here
