#asktheexperts Hello sir / madam what should I do if my baby have severe cough as it just sounds like an adult's ? should I check-in to the doctor? what else can I do at home to reduce the cough?

A. Hello, your baby girl is 4 years old and she is having a severe cough so give her steam inhalation and maintain good hydration and saline gargling and hot beverages and consult with paediatrician

A. kindly give syrup allegra 2.5 ml twice daily and syrup asthalin 3 ml twice daily. give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity every 3 hourly and give indirect steam inhalation. if thed child doesn't improve in next two and a half days then kindly meet your doctord and give warm water to drink.
