#asktheexperts hello, mam when to give polio drops after birth to 5 years, wht is duration?

A. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule and you can discuss with your pediatrician regardingf the detcails of the vaccination. Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine before as per the schedule then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine. For polio vaccine dates and related query you need to contact your local authorities .

A. no actually usually when the babies born the polio drops will be given and other things like usually the government will announce whenever it will be announced you can give it take you baby to get it done or else you can get it consulting your doctor along with the vaccination also
