A. Namaste Mam Check with the over all growth of the foetus , because as you are gaining weight the nutrition is merely reaching the baby or no is the question as such

A. Hello dear, don’t worry—this is actually quite common. Sometimes the mother gains weight, but the baby’s weight may still be on the lower side. The focus should be on giving proper nutrition to the baby. 👉 What you can do: 1. Increase protein intake Include foods like: Eggs 🥚 Milk & curd 🥛 Dal, chickpeas, green gram Chicken or fish (if non-veg) 2. Add iron & calcium-rich foods Spinach, beetroot, dates Ragi, almonds, sesame seeds Take supplements only if doctor prescribed 3. Eat small, frequent meals 👉 Instead of 3 big meals, take 5–6 small meals daily 4. Include healthy snacks Banana 🍌 (daily is good) Dry fruits Fruits & fresh juices 5. Stay hydrated 👉 Drink plenty of water, coconut water 6. Avoid junk food ❌ 👉 It increases your weight but doesn’t help baby growth 7. Regular checkups are important 👉 Follow your doctor’s advice and scans to monitor baby growth 💛 Important: Baby weight depends not only on food, but also on placenta health, blood flow, and overall pregnancy condition. So don’t panic—just focus on healthy eating and regular doctor visits.

A. sounds like you’re worried because you are getting bigger, but the baby is still small. Here is what you can do in simple steps: Eat more protein: Have more eggs, pulses (dhal), milk, paneer, or lean meat. These help the baby grow. Eat healthy fats: Eat a few nuts (like almonds or walnuts) and avocados. Sleep on your left side: This helps more blood and food reach the baby. Rest more: Try to avoid stress and get plenty of sleep. Drink water: Keep drinking throughout the day. Even if you are gaining weight, the baby needs specific nutrients to grow. Sometimes the body keeps the weight for the mom instead of passing it to the baby. Did your doctor give you any vitamins or special milk powder to help with the baby's weight?
