#asktheexperts hello experts... meri 3 saal ki beti hai usko 5days se cold n fever hai na zyada na Kam fvr ki syrup dal Rahi hu phir b uska temperature 99 to 100.5 ya 6 rehta hai isse zyada nhi hota... ye kab Tak Kam hogi please reply kijiye

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. fever for more than 3 days is not a simple fever and examination is required for the same and you can continue to give the fever medicine like paracetamold and if needed higher medicine like ibugesic / meftal p.
kindly do body sponge and give fluids at regular intervals and regular ddiet and meet the doctor immediately.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. and cannot be treated with antibiotics. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.
