#asktheexperts Hello doctor, My 42 day old baby is sleeping very very less. He is almost awake for 4-5 hrs before his next sleep of very short span. When put down wakes up. immediately. very fussy. what can be done?

A. Hello my dear parent ! Baby’s sleeping and feeding pattern keeps changing in the first humans after birth. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration and weight gain. Speak to your doctor for further guidance in this matter, good luck and take care.
