#asktheexperts good morning sir my second little one is a preterm baby boy taken during 33 weeks on April 21st 2025 and his birth weight was 1.4kg and his present weight is 5.150 .I wanted to know whether this weight is ideal or not.

A. Hello.mama yes the weight of the baby is good as compared to the birth weight.. Breastfeed ur baby every two hours interval or when demanded by the baby. once ur baby completes six months then start with the semi solids for weight increase.
