Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it all depends what is the reason for the white layer because it can be simple saliva secretions and sometimes it can be due to fungal infection also known as oral Thrush so you can remove it with the help of your finger or a cotton cloth and if it is still not improving meet your doctor to rule out any type of oral thrush
