Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity.
Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this jhgvaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required .
It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. It is mostly given with a gap of six months to 1 year Sanju certainly can go ahead with that as and when you want to but prior to that you will have to talk to Dr about it because a better clarity on the situation would be provided bio treating doctor Undi
