#asktheexperts Could you please advise why baby vomiting after feeding and what should we do ?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear parent, vomiting is common among breastfed baby due to reflux action. burp baby after every feed.
Burp in sitting position better than on shoulder
keeping the head and chest at a level higher than stomach helps to reduce vomit.
if baby is passing urine more than 7 times a day is active and alert and gaining adequate weight ,at least 500 gram per month then do not worry

Seema shekharMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Please make dure that after each and every breast feed burp properly your baby. burping is very important.also try to feed little less every time you can increase frequency but decrese quantity.
