#asktheexperts can we use new clothes to babies directly or need to wash before use?

GayatriMom of a 3 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. It is advisable to use washed clothes since it may have some pungent odour which baby can smell. Hence give a wash and then wear. For party wear clothes, try wearing inners like onesies or full body cover suit and then wear such clothes. Baby won’t feel itchy or won’t get irritated in designer clothing.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear It's always best to layer baby's clothing, which traps heat between the layers. Thin cotton clothes work well, starting with a thin sleeper onesie and then adding as needed — maybe a long sleeved shirt and pants or even a snowsuit if your little one is going to be in very cold temps. Cover up
