#asktheexperts can pacifier cause ear infection plz tell. my baby use pacifier and he has ear infection 3 times in 3 months

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is always a possibility that any for anything which goes inside the oral cavity can carry infection if it is not cleaned properly and from the oral cavity it can go into the ears of the child to cause ear infection

No pacifier is not associated with ear infection if it has to happen anything it is going to be in the mouth or stomach when it comes to infection by using pacifiers so I think your child is having another problem you should get it checked with an ENT doctor they can give you proper clarity on this
