#asktheexperts can i give vomikind syrup for my son aged 3 yeas for vomiting??? what should be the dosage???

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. 5ml twice daily
after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food.
do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period.
if vomiting occurs again then meets your doctor.
avoid giving milk and heavy diet.
vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Yes you can approximately 3.5 ML you can give rest to totally depend on the weight gain of the child because with growing age the dosage of the medicine completely depends upon the weight of the child during that time
