Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy11 months agoA. gas in the stomach and intestines can cause stretching, grunting, hiccups, and colic pain. to prevent this, keep the child upright and burp them for 15 to 20 minutes after feeding, even if you don'tx hear a burp. don't return the child to bed after one burp, as this may not expel all the gas, leading to intestinal discomfort.
