#asktheexperts 4months old baby, tries to sleep by sucking her fingers and is getting habituated to it . Is it ok to let her continue doing it ? She does that when she is hungry too ..

A. Hello good morning !! Even occasionally keeping fingers or sucking might become a habit . Better avoid this at an early stage,whenever the baby signifies hunger by keeping fingers into the mouth avoid this frequently then the baby stops . Give frequent feeds every two hours to avoid hunger and thirst.
