POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. Grunting or straining while pushing out a stool is normal in young babies. They are learning to relax their anus after 9 months of keeping it closed. It's also hard to pass stool lying on their back with no help from gravity.
