A. dear mum, after completion of 6 months, you can start giving solid foods like porridges (like rice, Ragi, wheat flour , moong dal and rice flour mix) , kheer then dal-rice with vegetables, veg khichadi, soft mashed fruits, curd. later mashed paneer. Until 6 months, you should exclusively breastfeed.

A. hi dear In brief: Feeding your baby solid foods. Before 6 months, breastmilk alone meets all your baby's energy and nutrition needs. Start to introduce soft foods at 6 months when your baby needs more energy and nutrients than your milk alone can provide.
