A. Namaste Mom, cCan you mentioned the details as to is it which thyroid ?. over all prefer to avoid heavy meals in the evenings and also refined , sugary and processed foods

A. hello.. you should avoid Gluten: Found in wheat, rye, and other grains, gluten can irritate the small intestine and make it harder for your body to absorb thyroid hormones... it harder for your body to absorb thyroid replacement hormones Caffeine: Can block the absorption of thyroid hormone replacements Processed foods: Often high in sodium Sugary foods: High in calories but low in nutrients Excess fiber: Can make hypothyroidism treatment more difficult Alcohol: Can have a toxic effect on the thyroid gland Turnips: May increase auto-immune thyroid illness and make it harder for your body to absorb and use thyroid hormone Iodine-rich foods: Too much iodine can make hyperthyroidism worse by causing the thyroid gland to produce too much thyroid hormone
