#AskTheExpert we started solids to our 6 months old boy. even now he is pooping once in 2 days or 3 days. but not constipated. is it normal? my paed have given iron syrup. is it a must to take iron syrup daily?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. yes this is normal it s normal for the baby to not pass stools daily as digestion can be different for everyone . If baby does not pass stool even upto 1 week it s not to worry. If more than 1 week and baby has discomfort can use glycerine suppository for relief. No syrup is given for this below 2 years
