#asktheexpert u gave a 1 year old baby. I didn't get periods from my delivery. is it normal?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. It happens in few women as due to breast feeding the hormonal changes occur and periods gets delayed and don’t even come for several months after delivery but still if you are doubtful then consult your gynaecologist

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. If you are breastfeeding your baby, your periods may not return for several months after childbirth. This is because the hormone that causes you to make milk, prolactin, also stops you from ovulating and having your period. If you are breastfeeding day and night, it can be up to a year before your period returns.
