#asktheexpert tongue tied .. my 11 month son has his tongue tied since birth. should I cut it now or wait till he is older

A. it depends on the severity of the tongue tie babe is having for proper advice in this regard you had to consult your local doctor . . . . .

A. Tongue-tie can improve on its own by the age of two or three years. Severe cases of tongue-tie can be treated by cutting the tissue under the tongue (the frenum). This is called a frenectomy.
