#AskTheExpert till the day today we haven't given stomach worm medicine is it compulsory to be given to a baby please suggest

Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after ohuune year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 days once this cycle shhould be repeated every six months at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to give this medicine only after taking guidance by your doctor

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. hello natural foods especially fruits like papaya acts as dewerming on mpst cases amd if not given and baby is doing all fine it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better
