A. Dear mum, if your baby is gaining weight at least 500 grams per month and is active, alert and passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, achieving all growth milestones, then do not worry. Exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months complete is the most healthy way to gain weight. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
