Q.

#asktheexpert some times my baby urin stream is not continuous.. he passes urin in 2-3 breaks sometimes.. is this normal.. he had uti in before 1 month and given antibiotics.. scan reports are normal.. plz reply

A. does it occurs due posterial urethral valve?? iam very tensed but his scan reports are normal..

A. he didn't have any infection.. dr posterial urethral valve can be identity in scan?

A. in this case it is important to rule out urinary tract infection for which urine report as well as urine culture needs to be done. in the report if it is found that there is positive urine culture then dr gives antibiotics for around 14 days after which culture report is repefated to see if the infection is gone. kindly take plenty of fluids to drink to and maintain hygiene of the urinary area and contact your doctor for relevant examination and investigation at the earliest
