Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluationf.
some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Could be due to dryness because if the child is only having white patches on the face and it could be associated with dryness so you can apply any good cream or moisturiser two or three times in the day hopefully it should get better over the period
