#AskTheExpert Sir, my kid is very slim. Is there any special foods to make him grow and healthy?

A. it is very important to meet your doctor to confirm whether the weight and height of the child is within normal limits or not and to know if child is suffering from any nutritional deficiency because that can lead to loss of appetite. offer different recipes and flavours made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily to improve the weight and height of the child give plenty of water to drink and juice cextracted from fruits which acts as natural appetizer if the child is not allergic then you can add dry fruit powdecr as well as ghee to the diet which will help in improving the calorie and protein in the diet. go through different diet plan as well as recipes which is present in firstcry application.

A. As toddlers are very active and picky eaters, mostly weight gain is also slow. You can include fat and protein rich foods in the diet like potato, rice, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, ghee, chicken, eggs, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana, avocado and 500-600 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and atleast 2 times healthy snacks alongwith variety of fluids.

A. Hi parents please include natural probiotics and dairy products in your child daily diet like fresh curd buttermilk lassi butter paneer ghee milk etc please include green leaf veggies and fresh fruit and different seeds and nuts in your child daily diet
