For healthy weight gain, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Give 4 to 5 meals a day and up to one katori every time. Include eggs and non veg foods like chicken, fish, meat. Add powdered nuts like almonds to baby’s food. Add ghee to every meal. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Breastfeed baby till 2 years.
