#AskTheExpert sir my baby girl has born on 9 December 2021. my wife has beta thalassemia minor but my report is negative about thalassemia. I have attached cbc report of my new born baby. please suggest me i m worried about hemoglobin and rbc

A. Hi there is no report attached if you are not thalassemic need not worry a clinical correlation of test results is important for appropriate diagnosis and treatment of any condition please contact Paediatrician

A. hello this requires a proper medical attention and it would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too as baby is small
