#AskTheExpert sir I have two daughters 4 yr and 2 yr. I heard about Measles vaccine. what is it and when to give . pls advise

A. mmr stands for measles mumps and rubella. you have to give three dosage of this vaccine at 9 months of age then at 15 months of age and at 5 years of age. vitamin a is usually given along with mmr vaccine. at present government covers only mr vaccine while in private mmr vaccine is available.d d mr vaccine stands for measles and rubella. at present in government set up only mr vaccine so mumps is not covered in mr vaccine.
