Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicinyte in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 houtrs again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations.
cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

You can give medicine to the child as of now if the fever does not reduces within 72 hours then you will have to get a check with your doctor as well to figure out as to what kind of a fever your child is going through because then it was not going to be or normal fever for the child if it stays for more than 72 hoursWrite Your Answer Here
