Q.

#AskTheExpert Our daughter is having viral fever and heavy cough, temp raised upto 104. We keep giving paracetamol every 5/6 hrs as soon as the temp rises again. So wanted to check is this ok, giving pctmol every time and not letting body (fever) fight the virus. Its been 3 days now.. 😌

A. yes it's ok to give paracetamol in 6 hours, also fir fast reecovery give lots of fluids and further it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

Q. My 5 months old baby is having fever. Last week he was having temp of 100. Padetrician says it's viral. So gave Paracetamol. So be was ok after that. Today again he showed temp of 99 in early morning. And afternoon temp of 100. Padetrician says ,it shows viral fever since he has no other symptoms. Again gave prescription of Paracetamol. Q. hello my son is one year old. he has developed fever suddenly but chest clear throat clear and ears clear. nasal congestion and stuffy runny nose. we have been giving him paracetamol for 2 days( as per his paediatric doc advise). temp goes upto 102°F. how many days the fever will last? as soon as 4-5 hours after giving paracetamol he again gets fever. he had not got this temp even when he got COVID.
