#AskTheExpert Namsthe, my baby girl is suffering from cold from last 2days. day time ok but night time facing difficulty. is there any solution for it? she is 5months old.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.

In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

use nasoclear saline drops..
keep the baby head little lifted up as the baby sleep..
apply warm mustard oil on baby chest back feet and gently massage at bed time..
take care..
