#AskTheExpert my son is having fever since Monday evening it goes till 102 we are giving him crocin 120 -5 mg but he is getting fever after every 5-6 hrs, he is not very active

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it s the viral. Temperature more than 99 is considered as fever . Digital thermometer can be used at armpit for checking for same . If fever is there paracetamol can be used 8 hourly for fever . If it remains more than 2 days then consult a doctor .

I suggest you please consult with your pediatrician about this matter because physical examination of child is important for proper diagnosis and treatment
